How to check corners in a match: results and history
A match's corner history records corners that have already been awarded. To check one fixture, identify its date and both teams, then read the home count, away count and total from the same match record.
Check the fixture before reading the numbers
Confirm the competition, date and match status. A scheduled fixture has no final corner result, while a live count can still change. Check whether the source covers regulation time or includes extra time. Records with different coverage should not be compared without an explanation.
Team order matters. When the home side is listed first, a 6-3 corner count means six home corners and three away corners. It is not the goal score. The match total is nine, obtained by adding the two counts in that record, not averages from unrelated matches.
| Fixture | Home corners | Away corners | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Team A - Team B | 6 | 3 | 9 |
| Team C - Team D | 0 | 4 | 4 |
| Team E - Team F | Missing | 5 | Unavailable |
Compare the last ten home and away matches
For the next home side, select its last ten home games. For the away side, select its last ten away games. Keep the date, opponent, corners for and corners against for every observation. Plot the records from oldest to newest so the chart's direction is unambiguous.
These are independent series. The fifth observation for one team may not share a date with the fifth observation for the other. Adding those points does not produce a real match total between them. A head-to-head series should contain only their direct meetings and must be labelled separately.
Calculate averages and frequencies separately
Take five fictional corners-for counts: 6, 4, 7, 3 and 5. They sum to 25, giving an average of 5.00. The team exceeds 4.5 corners in three matches: 3/5, or 60%. Count the qualifying records directly; the average alone does not determine this frequency.
If only eight of the requested ten games have valid data, display 8/10 available and calculate using those eight. A confirmed zero is valid. An empty cell or missing provider coverage is not zero, and an unknown count prevents calculation of a complete match total.
Find the right type of page
StatFair's public football statistics include season summaries. The LaLiga and Premier League corner tables provide team-level context. A season-average table does not replace the record for an individual match.
The interactive finder and advanced filters are Premium features, with access conditions on the pricing page. If a match history is unavailable, do not reconstruct it from a forecast. For a broader explanation of what to look for in a data source, read the corner statistics website guide. Historical counts describe completed records, not a promise about the next fixture.
